Refund & Cancellation Policy

How billing, cancellation, membership pausing, and refunds work for postUGC's Trial, subscription plans, and credit top-ups.

Effective: September 29, 2026Version 1.1

1. All Sales Are Final

Except where required by law, all payments made to postUGC are non-refundable. This includes, without limitation:

  • The one-time paid Trial ($4.99), regardless of whether trial credits were used to generate a video.
  • Monthly subscription fees for the Starter, Pro, and Growth plans, including partial billing periods if you cancel mid-cycle.
  • Additional video credit top-up purchases.
  • Any billing period during which you generated few or no videos, did not use your full credit allotment, or were dissatisfied with Generated Content quality.

We adopt this strict no-refund policy because each generation consumes real, non-recoupable compute cost from third-party AI providers at the moment it is requested, whether or not you are satisfied with the result. Credits reserved for a generation that fails to complete are automatically returned to your account (see Section 4), which is separate from a monetary refund.

2. Cancel Anytime

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page in your dashboard or through the secure customer billing portal. Cancellation stops future automatic renewal, but:

  • You will retain access to your current plan's features and remaining credits through the end of the billing period you already paid for.
  • No prorated or partial refund will be issued for the unused portion of the current billing period.
  • Your account will not be charged again after the current period ends, unless you resubscribe.

3. Credit Expiration

Monthly video generation credits included with your plan expire at the end of each billing period and do not roll over or accumulate, even if unused. A new credit allotment is issued at the start of each new billing period for active subscriptions. Credits purchased as a top-up are also intended for use within the billing period in which they are purchased.

4. Failed Generations

When you request a video, avatar, or other AI generation, the required credits are reserved from your balance at the time of the request. If the generation fails to complete successfully due to a system or provider error, the reserved credits are automatically refunded to your account balance so you can try again. This automatic credit refund is not a cash refund and does not affect the no-refund policy in Section 1.

5. Pausing Your Membership

Instead of canceling, you may pause your membership from Account Settings. While paused, your subscription is set to a paused status: you retain read-only access to your existing videos, campaigns, and account data, but you cannot create new campaigns, videos, schedules, posts, top-ups, or integrations. Pausing does not automatically stop billing; to stop future charges, cancel your subscription as described in Section 2.

6. Account Deletion

You may permanently delete your account from Account Settings at any time. Deleting your account immediately cancels any active subscription (no further charges will occur) and permanently removes your login and account data as described in our Privacy Policy. Account deletion does not entitle you to a refund for the current or any prior billing period.

7. Billing Errors and Disputes

If you believe you were charged in error (for example, a duplicate charge or a charge after you believe you canceled), contact us at support@postugc.com within 30 days of the charge. We will review the billing record and correct genuine billing errors caused by our systems.

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer or bank. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account pending resolution, and we reserve the right to dispute chargebacks that are inconsistent with this Policy and the Terms of Service you agreed to.

8. Statutory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Policy limits any statutory right you may have under the law of your country or state that cannot be waived by agreement, including certain consumer protection rights available to residents of the European Union or United Kingdom for digital services. Where such mandatory rights conflict with this Policy, the mandatory right will apply to the extent required by law.

9. How to Cancel or Get Help

You can manage your subscription yourself at any time:

  • Go to Dashboard → Billing to view your plan, usage, and cancellation option.
  • Use the "Manage billing" link to open the secure customer billing portal, where you can cancel, update payment methods, and view invoices.
  • Go to Account Settings to pause your membership or permanently delete your account.
